As part of this year's Summer Fayre, our foundation unit hosted it's own English tea party to help raise money for the school's new Outside Classroom Project. What an amazing afternoon! We had a BBQ, cream teas, home made cakes, strawberries and cream and a cake tombola. In our learning leading up to the afternoon, the children wrote invitations, made posters and sampled cream teas (served in Mrs. Chapman's silver tea service!)
Many thanks to all the parents and grown-ups who came along, made and donated cakes, helped on our stalls and BBQ and made our afternoon so special and successful.
Also a special thanks to Zoe Burgess and the team at Tescos, and the Co-Op for donating lots of yummy food for us to sell.

We watch the eggs in the incubator to make sure they are moving regularly.
DAY ONE IN THE BIG CHICKEN HOUSE:
Nathan brings 7 chicken eggs and an incubator to school. He tells us how to look after our eggs. We hope some of them will hatch!
