School Hours
We work on a 4 and a half day week at Oakwood Primary Academy
Monday - Thursday the school gates are opened at 8:15 am and doors to pupils classrooms will be open at 8:30.
In the afternoon school gates are opened at 3:15 and children will be released from their classrooms at 3:30pm.
On a Friday, the gates open at 8:15am in the morning with pod doors opening at 8:30.
School closes at 12:50pm - gates will be opened at 12:45 for children to be collected from the Pods.
We do offer childcare on Friday afternoon for working parents or parents in full time Education - please speak to the School office about a place.
The total time a child is in school per week is 32.5 hours.
