The school gates are opened at 8:30am.
At 8:30am, pupils will go directly to their designated playground areas:
• Foundation pupils will enter their own playground
• Year 1 and 2 pupils will use the Key Stage 1 playground
• Years 3–6 pupils will be on the Key Stage 2 playground
During this time (8:30am – 8:40am), all teachers will be on the playground to supervise pupils. This allows for a positive, social start to the day and provides an opportunity for you to communicate with your child’s class teacher to share any important information or ask questions. If you do not need to speak with a teacher, you are welcome to say goodbye to your child at this time. At 8:40am, the school bell will ring. All pupils will line up with their class and be taken into school by their teacher. The school gates will then be closed and locked promptly at this time. Any child arriving after 8:40am will need to be signed in at the school office.
In the afternoon school gates are opened at 3:20pm and children will be released from their classrooms at 3:30pm.
